I'm really becoming a believer in all things solar and portable. Some of this is driven by electrical cost and other considerations have been convenience and survival. I treated myself to a few goodies over Christmas. The last few years I haven't purchased anything over the holidays; money is just too tight, but this year, I needed a happy mental Christmas.
Three of my best purchases were an emergency lantern, indoor sensor lights, and a personal space heater. I am loving these things so much that I'm looking into other things, like a Garden Patio Heater to make being outdoors during off-summer months more appealing. It's a change in lifestyle in a way.
This is all fits in some alterations I'm in the process of making. I want my backyard to be more peaceful and used. One step at a time as they say.
