The weather is really turning into springtime, and that always brings about thoughts of things to be done. I really need to get a tree for shade, but still haven't figured out how to do that. The back of the house takes in so much sun. It's a lot better now than it used to be, with some new windows at the rear and sunscreens. The patio doors need to have something done to them, though. I can feel the heat coming through them.
I also want to get some concrete work done, if I'm able to. Of course, finding the right person to do the job can be tricky. I know I'll need to do a lot of searching to try and find the right company when the time comes.
As I was doing some preliminary searching, I ran across Phoenix Concrete which includes a nice article on how to find the right concrete contractor for the job. There are some good links on that site if you go to the 'contact' page. Following those links, you can see just how broadly concrete is used these days. I really had no idea that it was being used in so many different applications. My need is much more basic, but I was very intrigued by what I saw. I also appreciated the article on the site linked here. Any helpful tips are appreciated.
The company at this site is called MasterCrete, which I think is a very catchy name. They work in the Phoenix area, doing all kinds of jobs, including driveways, sidewalks, and more. You can find out more about them by following those links on the 'contact' page.
Hopefully, the time will come when I can make the improvements that I need to in my yard. I'm thinking positively!
