Turning the Tide

As luck has it, that hot weather I mentioned before came but then went away. Our May has been way below norm, and while some are bemoaning that fact, I'm loving it. It allows me to function better.

There's been a lot to do and a lot going on. I'm aware that people are still struggling to get by. Hey, I'm one of them, but my stress is less these days. My neighbors were finally able to move, something they'd wanted to do for a long time because they need more room. I miss seeing them.

Other folks are looking to make things better for themselves with something like a loan modification, which can be scary. There are a lot of places like American Residential Law Group where you can get advice if this is something that might work for you.

I'm just trying to make smart choices as much as possible. They say our economy is improving, but our local unemployment rate is up again, so I'm not sure I believe the hype about things getting better. I want to, I'm just doubtful.

That's it for now. I'll have more later!
